Collaborate with Michael Swords Studio

We welcome thoughtful enquiries from architects, technicians, surveyors, and heritage consultants who share our interest in conservation-led design, particularly from those with an interest in ecclesiastical architecture. We also enjoy collaborating with other practices, including design studios and interior designers.

We operate a remote-first working policy and actively seek to create opportunities for people in places where access to the kind of work we do may be lacking. We welcome applications and collaboration enquiries from individuals based in rural areas or living abroad.

Any enquiries about advertised roles should be directed by email to the Studio Manager at the address above. Due to the volume of applications received, we prefer not to take phone calls from candidates regarding advertised roles. Please do not call the practice to check on the status of your application. We aim to respond to all applications within three weeks of receiving your email.

A Conversation Through Craft

We see the portfolio as an opportunity to demonstrate both your interest in and understanding of our work, as well as your own sense of craft.

We value thoughtful introductions and keep speculative applications on file for future opportunities.
