Michael Swords Studio was established to use our skills as conservation architects to help church communities look after their historic buildings. This includes serving as Inspecting Architect, supporting parishes with repairs, maintenance, and long-term care. Michael currently holds appointments across London and is on the approved list of Inspecting Architects for the Dioceses of London, Southwark, Chelmsford, and Guildford.
We enjoy working with churches and communities to keep their buildings in good repair. While much of our current work is with the Church of England, we’re also keen to support Catholic churches, gurdwaras, temples, and other places of worship and community.
